Key Functions

SCAN (Orange)	– Lets you scan or manual operation the scanner’s memory.
FM RADIO (Orange)	– Lets you tune the local FM broadcast, or manual operation the Scanner’s FM Radio channel
SRCH (Orange)	– Searches the scanner’s preprogrammed search bands.
MAN/SCAN (Blue)	– Lets you scan or manual operation the scanner’s channel (or FM Radio channels) while SCAN (or FM RADIO mode).
TUNE (Blue)	– Lets you tune the frequency along with UP/DOWN (arrow)
WX (Blue)	– Lets you search the scanner’s preprogrammed 7 weather channels, directly accesses SKYWARN channel.
FUNC (Blue)	– Lets you use various functions by pressing this key in combination with other keys.

OTHER FUNCTIONS

Ten Channel-Storage Banks – you can store 20 channel in each bank for a total of 200 channels, allowing you to group channels together so that they can be easily activated and deactivated by group.

Tune – lets you tune for a “NEW” and “Unlisted” frequencies starting form a specified frequency.

SAME/FIPS Weather Alert – Provides severe weather and other hazard alerts for the area that you specify.

Lockout Function – lets you set your scanner to skip over specified channels or frequencies when scanning or searching.

Scan Delay – delays scanning for about 2 seconds before moving to another channel, so you can hear more replies that are transmitted on the same channel.

Priority Channel – lets you se the scanner to check one channel 2 seconds so you do not miss transmission.

Data Cloning – Allows you to clone your radio’s memory contents to another same model (s) scanner, saving time and effort.

CTCSS and DCS Functionality – Supports selective sub-audible squelch operation, Search for codes that are in use and block unwanted transmissions.

FM Tuner – Lets you receive FM broadcast for your local area.
